Office of the Ombudsmen, Campus Mediation Program

Ombudsman is available to any member of the UCI community and works independently as an objective, confidential mediator. Campus Mediation Program provides a confidential structure that encourages the parties in a dispute to work together to reach acceptable outcomes. Located in University Tower.

Police Department (radKIDS Safety Academy)

The UC Irvine Police Department and Campus Recreation offer the radKIDS Safety Academy (Resisting Aggression Defensively). The academy covers all aspects of personal safety such as out and about safety, vehicle safety, bike safety, home safety, school safety, bullies, fire safety, using 911 correctly, Internet pitfalls, water/pool safety, as well as stranger awareness, good/bad/uncomfortable touch, and basic principles of defense. This personal empowerment and safety education program is designed specifically for boys and girls. Two separate classes are available for children ages 5 to 7 and 8 to 10. (Fee: $40.00 per child.) Speciality clinics include women's clinic, men's clinic, dental and eye. Discount pharmacy. Students can self-order some laboratory tests including pregnancy and blood glucose.
