Antitobacco Research Grant

Director Ellen Reibling serves as Project Director for projects grant funded to Dr. Connie Pechmann, Graduate School of Management by the Tobacco Related Disease Research Program. The projects focus on predicting the potential efficacy of anti-tobacco advertising targeting youth. Undergraduate research opportunities are available through this project.

Safer Colleges and Universities: A UC-System Evaluation

Health Education serves as the UCI liaison for a systemwide project funded to the Prevention Research Center. The five year project will evaluate the impact of a comprehensive, community-based campus intervention. Assistant Director Amy Buch will direct this effort on behalf of UCI.

AIDS Walk Orange County

AIDS Walk Orange County supports the Sexual Health Program, funded by an annual grant from the proceeds of the walk. Hosted by UCI, the Walk attracts more than 12,000 participants and will be held in May.
