How you or your group can become involved and help:
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3
Individuals and groups are needed to volunteer to help set up on the day before the walkathon (Friday, May 9) and
for the AIDS Walk itself (Saturday, May 10). If you are available to help Friday, Saturday or both please register by clicking "Volunteer" above.
Individuals and groups can register to walk. We encourage all walkers to ask friends, Family and others
to spondsor your efforts and make a pledge on your behalf directly on the
web site. There is a $25 registration fee, or simply pledge to raise that minimal amount through your sponsors. If you want to start a walk team or join a walk team, you can do that here as well. You may add members to your team at any time.
If you choose not to participate either by walking or volunteering your time, then please consider making a comfortable donation on behalf of the UCI Health Education Walk Team. Every penny goes directly to AIDS Walk Orange County.
But no matter how you choose to be involved, please help the UCI community by registering and
indicating "UCI" on all your registration forms. The Health Education Center has been a recipient agency for more
than 12 years and the money we receive from AIDS Walk helps to provide valuable sexual health (HIV / AIDS)
programming and education to the students that attend UCI. But unless you indicate that you or your club is
volunteering, walking or making a donation as part of the UCI community, we do not get credit for your efforts.
